14 karat gold and 925 silver are an alloy. These alloys are made by mixing pure gold and pure silver, and for our gold and silver jewelry, copper is added. This "non-precious metal" is added to make jewelry stronger and more durable. You simply cannot make jewelry out of pure gold and pure silver, as they are far too soft and not scratch-resistant. The most common allergy trigger is nickel, which is sometimes used in alloys. Soek. Atelier does not use nickel, so you can rest assured that there is an extremely low chance of experiencing an allergic reaction.

Here’s how you can easily mix and match your personal ear party!

I’ll give you two examples of how to measure this.

You can measure your ring size using a ring that already fits and a ruler.

Lay a well-fitting ring that belongs to you, or one for the person you’re buying a ring for, on the ruler.

Check how many millimeters the ruler shows on the inside of the ring. For example, if this is 18 millimeters, your ring size is 18. So once you know the diameter, you know your size.

You can also measure your ring size using a piece of string and a ruler.

Wrap a piece of string around the finger you want to measure.

Mark the end of the string where the two ends meet at the starting point.

Measure the marked string with a ruler and note the length in millimeters.

Then you’ll know the circumference of your finger. You can use the chart below to calculate your ring size.

Tips!

If you’re unsure between two sizes, choose the larger size.

Your finger size can be affected by temperature, so preferably measure at room temperature.

Soek Atelier creates the most refined earrings from just 0.8 mm thick silver or gold wire. Our other jewelry pieces range in wire thickness from 1 mm to 1.5 mm. You should treat the jewelry with care. I advise against wearing the jewelry while sleeping, exercising, or showering to preserve both the shine of the silver and gold, as well as the shape of the pieces.

To enjoy your jewelry for as long as possible, it’s important to care for it properly. Silver and gold stay looking beautiful longer if they do not come into contact with chemicals. Therefore, avoid hairspray, perfume, body lotion, and dish soap while wearing your jewelry. Store your jewelry in a dark, dry place, for example in a box or pouch.

Precious metals can tarnish due to dirt, chemicals, or improper storage. Annoying but fixable! Buff your jewelry back to a shiny finish. You can do this using, for example, a polishing cloth, available in our online shop.

• Send the products back in a suitable, sturdy package that includes the return form. 
• All items may be returned within 14 days of receipt. After this, the full purchase amount, excluding original shipping costs, will be transferred back to the account used for the initial payment.
• You are responsible for all return shipping costs and associated liability. I recommend sending your return with a track and trace code — if you do not do this and your shipment is lost, this is not my responsibility.
• If the goods are used, damaged, or incomplete, Soek. Atelier reserves the right to refuse the returned items.

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receipt and inspection.

If you notice visible defects immediately upon receiving the product, you must report this directly to me no later than 5 days after the shipment is received by Soek. Atelier via email at info@soek-atelier.nl. If you exceed this 5-day window, any claims against Soek. Atelier will be forfeited.
