Green choices

Add an image alongside blocks of text to draw attention to your chosen product, collection, or blog post. Add details about availability and style, or share a product review. My goal is to give you, as a customer, a wonderful feeling when you make a purchase from my studio. I believe that my detailed choices focused on sustainability contribute to this.

At Soek. Atelier, I create my collections carefully and intentionally. I pay attention to every detail, from selecting my sketchbooks right down to the material of the packaging that the jewelry is shipped in.

For every step in my production process, I opt for the most feasible, eco-friendly choice I can make. So from A to Z.

I hope to share my vision through my handmade pieces, and that you will continue to spread it by wearing my jewelry with joy and mindfulness.

  • My sustainable mission

To keep my footprint on our beautiful planet as small as possible while pursuing my passion, I am always looking for new ways to take this to the next level.

I source my suppliers and materials with great care. I primarily work with local businesses, small entrepreneurs, and family-owned companies. I also deliberately choose FSC-certified, recycled, and/or unbleached paper and cardboard.

My gold and silver supplier is affiliated with ARM as an Authorized Supplier of Fairmined gold. Through this license, they are part of the transparent supply chain from mine to consumer. This means that both you and I can trust the origin of the gold and the positive impact it has on mining communities.

I combine another of my great hobbies by seeking out the finest secondhand presentation supplies during my thrift store visits, then spruce up the unique pieces I find there with plenty of love and joy.

Little Stubborn Weekend

Once every quarter, I gather all my samples, 3D sketches, and jewelry with flaws. Many of these pieces are too beautiful to melt down, and they’re so fun precisely because of their originality!

They may have, for example, a slightly too short pin, a triangle that’s too small, or simply didn’t make the final collection.

These pieces are not suitable for sale at the prices I normally charge private customers or retail partners. That’s why I sell them at very low prices during Eigenwijsje Weekenden via my webshop.

This way, no jewelry goes unused, my studio stays nice and tidy, and I create an opportunity for people with a smaller budget to wear a beautiful, handcrafted piece of jewelry and learn about the sustainable products from Soek. Atelier.
